Being able to create space between you and your defender is integral to your success as a player, and this drill will help with that development.

How to do the Drill:

Coach Bill Self's Coaches Clinic

It's very important that players continue to have pre-season and post-season development.. It is equally important that coaches are constantly getting development and staying sharp with what their peers and successful coaches are doing to stay ahead of the game.

Olathe Hoops Athletic Club & Fitness Center
Coach V announces plans to build a youth athletic development facility and indoor sports arena.  The increasing need for year-around youth athletic development and gym space has created a significant void for facilities that can begin to accomodate this need.  We have witnessed over the years, that the local community and surrounding metro community have a lack of available facilities to meet the demands.  We have also found that our seniors and young families in our community need a destination spot for sports, fitness, athletic development and social involvement to maintain healthy lifestyles.  The facility will not only build a multiple gym environment but provide, baseball and softball pitching and batting cages; gymnastics, dance and cheer; volleyball and football player development; along with speed, strength and agility programs for all athletes. We believe a significant community type center for the Olathe community is significant for continuing to grow and meet the needs of families in the areas of education, training, civic involvement and fun.
